Earl
16
DUBROOM
MP3 ARTIST REVIEW |
Earl
Daley started his career in the mid-1970's,
but that was after he grew up in Jamaica
under the musical influence of Dennis Brown
and other singers. He recorded for Joe Gibbs
and many more, before finally re-locating to
the UK via the USA. Until this day (December
2009), Earl 16 continues to sing for Reggae
audiences both in the UK DUB and Roots
discipline as well as the more
"regular" Roots Reggae scenes.

Echo
™
DUBROOM
MP3 ARTIST REVIEW |
With
a remarkable online début EP carrying three
different versions of an extremely laid-back
riddim and an interesting introduction, Echo
TM will catch the attention of the serious
collector of obscure and serious Digital Dub
and Dub-based music.
Interesting
layers of effects, a combination of
Old-Skool and New-Skool techniques: Echo TM
is here to stay!

ERROL
JUDAH
DUBROOM
MP3 ARTIST REVIEW |
He's
the vocalist for the Coventry-based Kifaru
band/collective, but that's definitely not
all that Errol Judah is doing. His
collaboration with the Neophyte Steppers for
example makes him very interesting to check
out as well.

FRENCH
DUB RELEASED
DUBROOM
NETLABEL REVIEW |
WWW,
July 2011 - French Dub Released (FDR)
well-picked their name: the Net Label is the
direct result of the ever-growing gathering
of online DUB producers. They specialize in
non-commercial music, to be more precise:
almost-everything-French-but-everything-DUB.
With such
relatively well-known French
artists/producers like Manutension, I-Plant,
and Webcam Hi-Fi, FDR is definitely a Net
Label to put in your bookmarks as they do
put a lot of effort in showing the quality
of contemporary France-based DUB.

Fresh
Poulp
DUBROOM
NETLABEL REVIEW |
WWW,
August 2012 - They're not your typical (DUB)
Reggae Net Label, but that's just because
they prefer to focus on "everything
electronic", basically. So you're
dealing with all kinds of styles but also
with DUB and even though you have to search
a bit deeper, Fresh Poulp most certainly has
some real DUB Gems in their ever expanding
catalogue.
The Net
Label was founded in 2004 with the intention
to use the World Wide Web to distribute free
music of basically everything electronic. In
their
own words, "Sailing through
dub, techno, electronica and drum’n'bass,
the poulp’s tentacles also lead to other
musical style fiting with the electronic
domain and all its crossovers (hip-hop,
jazz, oriental music)."

ECHO
CHAMBER
DUBROOM
PODCASTER REVIEW |
WWW,
APRIL 2007 - With each show lasting about
three hours, and with 10's of shows
available for free download, the Echo
Chamber podcasts can simply not be absent in
your growing collection of tracks and shows.
The show
isn't only available on the Internet. Dr.
StrangeDub, who hosts the show together with
DJ Baby Swiss, is also broadcasted in the
American state of Minneapolis on KFAI FM.
And it's not a new show either, for in 2006
they celebrated their 10th anniversary.
