Earl 16
DUBROOM MP3 ARTIST REVIEW

Earl Daley started his career in the mid-1970's, but that was after he grew up in Jamaica under the musical influence of Dennis Brown and other singers. He recorded for Joe Gibbs and many more, before finally re-locating to the UK via the USA. Until this day (December 2009), Earl 16 continues to sing for Reggae audiences both in the UK DUB and Roots discipline as well as the more "regular" Roots Reggae scenes.

Earl 16 and Digitaldubs - Pirate's Game
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, July 2011 - At the moment this review was written, the Brazilian collective DigitalDubs is about to have their very first release on the US based ROIR Label, known for their American releases of some of the most heavyweight UK Dub Champions. Download the free single "Pirate's Game", a tight Roots Reggae riddim voiced by one leading veteran vocalist now, buy the rest later.

As can be seen in the video clip that accompanies the track, Earl 16 has not lost anything during the decades in which he voiced just too many tunes to mention. Most of all, he did not lose his consciousness as in this track he points to the finger to the legalized criminals that ruin one nation after the other. Everything on top of a crucial Roots Reggae riddim produced by the Brazilian collective DigitalDubs.
