DEBORAH
ALISON
|
| This
sistren, hailing from Canada, sings her
conscious lyrics in the very same
"Roots Daughter Tradition" as ones
like Aisha from Mad Professor's Ariwa
Studio. Uplifting to say the least!

HON0RABLE
NEGUS
|
| He
basically grew up with Reggae Music and has
been a part of sound systems like New York
King Jammy's. With a trained background in
sound engineering too, you could say that
Honorable Negus was bound to become the
great vocalist that he is.
The music of his art is dancehall and
contemporary roots, lyrically he has a
healthy balance between themes of
consciousness and lovers.

Dread - Give Thanks (3 Track Dub 'n'
Discomix EP) |
| Giving
thanks can be done in many different ways.
In this case, three. Three different mixes
of the same steppers riddim, from some heavy
Dubbing to full vocal parts.
The music is down-tempo, but because
there's so much happening in the rhythm the
feel is actually very lively |
