HORSEMAN
DUBROOM
MP3 ARTIST REVIEW |
| WWW,
July 2014 - A talented and skillful drummer
and vocalist, the versatile Horseman has
been active in Reggae Music since the 1980's
when a track with his vocal works was
released on none other than the Greensleeves
Record Label. Since then, he has been
working with several well established names
like the Mad Professor and his ARIWA Studio.
On top of that, Horseman has been very
active with Prince Fatty in providing (DUB)
Reggae producers with crucial material.
Horseman's
raw and militant, yet very friendly and open
voice can at times be compared to Culture's
Jospeph Hill even though the similarity is
in the same style rather than by seeing
copies. The versatile MC is able to deliver
a message of peace and love, improvising on
riddims and singing/toasting ad-lib's to
mention just a few things.

Hortense
Ellis
DUBROOM
MP3 ARTIST REVIEW |
| When
she left us in October 2000, Hortense left
us with an incredible legacy of heartfelt,
soulfull Rocksteady, Roots, Rub a Dub, et
cetera.
She was
Best Female Jamaican Vocalist in 1964, and
recorded for just about every Jamaican
producer of any significance afterwards.
